Project Title: Grace Global University Faculty Development Project: Enhancing Pedagogical Skills and Student Outcomes
My Role: Instructional Design Lead
Introduction: This project outlines a comprehensive faculty development initiative designed for Grace Global University (GGU). The primary goal was to address performance gaps, specifically limited instructional design skills and minimal technology integration, to enhance student outcomes. The initiative focused on training faculty in the ADAPT and ADDIE frameworks, integrating AI-assisted tools and blended learning strategies, and ensuring consistent policy compliance. Success was planned to be measured using Kirkpatrick's Four Levels, ensuring a focus on skill transfer and sustainable organizational impact.
Design & Communication: Canva
Learning Management System (LMS): Used for delivering fully online asynchronous modules, diagnostic self-assessments, and LMS announcements.
Interactive Content: H5P microlearning resources were developed and used.
AI Integration: AI-assisted tool tutorials were created for faculty training. AI analytics were also integrated into the feedback systems.
Delivery: Live Virtual Sessions / Webinars were used for synchronous delivery, Q&A, and coaching.
Performance Aids: Tools included the Faculty Lesson Redesign Planner, Transfer Checklists, and quick-start guides.

Instructional Design Inconsistency: Faculty exhibited limited familiarity with the ADDIE/ADAPT frameworks, leading to inconsistent objective alignment in courses.
Technology Adoption Lag: Minimal use of AI or multimedia tools and a reliance on traditional, lecture-heavy approaches.
Policy Variable Adherence: Variable adherence to academic integrity and accessibility standards across courses.
Low Engagement: Sporadic skill development and limited peer collaboration and reflective practice.
The project implemented targeted instructional and non-instructional solutions to address each challenge:
Instructional Design: Deployed ADAPT-based faculty development modules to build proficiency in objective and assessment alignment.
Technology Modernization (Highlighting AI):
Developed AI-assisted instructional tool tutorials to enable faculty to effectively use AI and multimedia in course design.
Trained faculty on blended learning strategies to move away from lecture-heavy approaches.
Integrated AI analytics into feedback systems to support continuous improvement.
Policy Consistency: Ensured consistent application of GGU policies by addressing academic integrity and accessibility standards within the training.
Engagement & Sustainability:
Established Communities of Practice (CoPs) and peer collaboration circles for ongoing reflection and shared problem-solving.
Implemented a formal Reward & Recognition system (micro-credentials, digital badges) and Feedback Systems to sustain instructional improvements.
